Inuyasha
Half demon, half human, Inuyasha seeks the
Shikon Jewel, the jewel of Four Souls, because it will give him
full power as a demon. Impatient and self centered, he was in love
with Kikyo, a priestess of the jewel. He’s only half demon
so sometimes he loses his power. On nights of the new moon his power
falls to that of an ordinary human. He is also Sesshomaru's brother.

Kagome Higurashi
Ninth-grader
Kagome was suddenly drawn into the Warring States period through
the Bone-Eater's Well. She is thought to be the reincarnation of
Kikyo because of their resemlance and since the jewel came out of
her body. Kagome’s power gives her arrows an evil destroying
aura and purifies the polluted shards of the Jewel.

hunts Naraku. She usually dresses in traditional clothes, like a
village girl, but in battle she puts on her exterminator uniform.
Kirara is Sango's pet from the exterminator village and is a nekomata,
an ancient breed of cat with a split tail and supernatural powers.
She usually takes the form of a house cat, but in a battle becomes
